2026 FAMILY CAMP  - EOI

Back by popular demand our 2026 Family Camp is proposed for 06-08 November - 2 nights.

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION BELOW:

• Camping at Scout Camp Kariong just near Gosford - 1.5 hours drive from the CBD https://www.facebook.com/scoutcampkariong/
• A relaxed weekend getting to know the other families and enjoy this special bush campsite
• Bring the whole family! Parents and siblings are welcome
• ALL ADULTS ATTENDING OVERNIGHT ACTIVITIES must be registered Adult Helpers with Scouts NSW - this is mandatory to comply with Scouts NSW Child Safe policy - details available separately
• Parents will be responsible for their own children during this camp, it will not be a Leader led camp
• Self catered in commercial kitchen; refrigeration and dining facilities - ie. no camp cooking required
• Large communal campfire
• Shared gendered bathroom facilites with hot showers
• Onsite parking and use of trolleys to transport gear
• Actitivites to include campfire, bushwalks, informal games, swimming, etc, (itinerary to be developed)
• Cost is likely to be around $40-50 per person for both nights, depending on numbers - this cost includes camping fee and exclusive use of the kitchen and dining rooms
• Basic cleaning help required at end of camp; sweep and mop kitchens and bathrooms
