1st Leichhardt Scout Group is formed into sections according to age, with some overlap to suit each individual child. All sections meet weekly at the Scout Hall, at 145 Balmain Road Lecihhardt. Section meeting times are below; and your child will be automatically placed into the relevant section based on their age.
1st Leichhardt is a thriving group and some sections have waitlists to join. Contact the group leader to discuss what section may be appropriate for your child and find out about openings and when your child may attend for a trial night.
Next, you will need to fill in the online application form. This gives you 6 weeks of FREE Trial Membership. If during that period you wish to continue, just let the group leader know to make it official. The trial membership activates the Scouts Insurance policies and ensures all contact details are shared.
The total fees for 2026 are $530 for new members, including a once off joining fee of $90.
